Bloodstock Open Air Festival is set to be bigger and better than ever in 2013, with a mammoth trio of headliners in the shape of Lamb of God, King Diamond, and Slayer.
Joining these heavyweights at Catton Hall in Derbyshire on 8th to 11th August are the likes of Anthrax, DevilDriver, Municipal Waste, Accept, Kataklysm, and Fozzy, plus many more still to be announced.
Bloodstock HQ have set up an affiliate scheme which allows you, their metal brethren, to be rewarded in the efforts you make in spreading the good word of Bloodstock. All you need to do is sign up for a free affiliate account and you will be assigned your own personal link, or choose a fancy banner, then whack it on your website, Facebook, Twitter, carrier pigeons and let your metal-loving friends and visitors buy a ticket through your link. Once 10 people have done so, you’ll get 10% cash back or a weekend ticket for free! So... if you sell 20 tickets, you’ll get two weekend tickets for free or get over £200 cash back! The more you sell the more you get back! Minimum redemption is the first 10 tickets, and then after that there are no restrictions! Great idea, eh?
We’ve come up with a few suggestions you may want to spend your cash back on (some more serious than others):
- Minibus hire/splitting transport costs to and from the festival
- Beer fund for you and your mates at the festival
- Food fund for you and your mates at the festival
- Beer
- Festival merch
- A dinosaur onesie to wear at the festival
- Real Ale
- Your own unique flags/banners to mark your territory in the campsite
- More beer
- Umbrellas (coz you know, it’s going to be Raining Blood on Sunday!)
- Viking horns to drink beer out of
