After taking the world by storm in 2012, British pop sensation The Wanted started 2013 in style winning last month’s People’s Choice Award as Favourite Breakout Artist.
Today, The Wanted announce their brand new TV show on the E! Network; set to première in the US in June and around the world this autumn. The lead track from the E! TV show, 'All Time Low,' is the boys’ new US single, being serviced today to Top 40 and Hot AC radio formats in the US on Mercury/Island Def Jam/Global Talent.
With February 25th set for the official impact date, 'All Time Low' was written by Steve Mac, Wayne Hector and Ed Drewett; produced by Steve Mac and was the Wanted’s Number 1 debut single in the UK. The song spent 43 consecutive weeks on the chart in 2010 and 2011, netting over 490,000 sales to date.
Along with a brand new single for the UK and rest of world coming this summer, the track is taken from the band’s forthcoming brand new album, set for worldwide release this autumn.
With recording well underway, the band head to sunny southern California to live together in the Hollywood Hills and finish recording the new album in Los Angeles. E! will chronicle the Wanted’s West Coast adventure on the upcoming reality series, 'The Wanted life', (working title) produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions, SB Productions and Global TV UK. Giving a real life, non-glossy, unvarnished look at life behind the scenes in The Wanted, the TV show will bare all and truly be one of the most riveting reality TV watches of 2013.
Over the course of the past 12 months and numerous American visits, The Wanted have appeared on Ellen and Chelsea Lately, NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, CBS Morning News, the AMA’s, People’s Choice Awards, NBC’s The Today Show, The Voice and American Idol.
And finally for 2013, The Wanted today announce a new US and UK tour, slated for the autumn, full details of which will be announced this summer. Playing all the hits, along with material from their new album, the boys live shows are a must see.
