Bruce 'The Boss' Springsteen has been confirmed as the first act to perform at the Leeds Arena, a month before the venue officially opens. Bruce Springsteen Tickets for his new Leeds show are ON SALE 9AM TODAY, Friday 22nd February.
Since the release of his latest album ‘Wrecking Ball’, which topped the UK and US Album charts upon release in March last year, Bruce Springsteen has been touring almost non-stop.
Now, having been given the opportunity to "road test" the brand new £60million Leeds Arena, The Boss is set to raise the brand new roof on Wednesday 24th July.
According to Arena sales and marketing director Tony Watson, Springsteen requested to be the first man to perform at the new arena. Tony said: “Springsteen has always expressed a love of performing in the UK and, from what I understand, any opportunity to put Leeds Arena through its paces was too much to resist. We’re more than happy to take orders from ‘The Boss’ on this occasion.”
In addition to this new Leeds show, Bruce Springsteen is performing at some of the UK and Ireland's biggest stadiums this summer.
