Treetop Flyers head out across the UK and Europe in April and May in support of their debut album ‘The Mountain Moves’, released April 29th on Loose Music. The tour is the London five-piece’s most extensive yet, with twelve UK dates and further dates in Germany, Denmark, Holland, Belgium and France.
Following the release of two well-received singles, which received plays on Radio 1, 6 Music, Absolute and Xfm, Treetop Flyers headed to California to make their debut long-player.
‘The Mountain Moves’ was recorded at Zuma Sound in Malibu, a studio originally built for Rick Rubin. Produced by Noah Georgeson (Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom, Bert Jansch), it’s a record of hope, honesty and huge choruses.
Paying their dues to everyone from The Band and Neil Young by way of Little Feat and Fleetwood Mac, there are also gracious nods towards the more contemporary likes of My Morning Jacket, The Coral and Jonathan Wilson wrapped up this classic country-soul debut.
