More than 50 fans were arrested at Eminem’s Slane Castle gig on August 17, but organisers have hailed the ‘majority of fans’ who didn’t cause any trouble.
The 80,000 strong crowd went wild at the gig, during which Eminem performed a career-spanning set. Unfortunately, some 35 were arrested for drug offences, 22 for public order issues, five for assault and a solitary fan was caught for drink driving.
Michael Devine - the event’s superintendent - said of the gig:
“The vast majority of fans heeded the advice given in advance of the event which ensured everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience.”
Eminem will now move on to Glasgow, where he'll play Bellahouston Park before landing at Reading and Leeds. If you want ticket, check the dates and links below - he also hits Reading and Leeds Festival this weekend.
