Organisers of Glastonbury Festival have revealed ticket details ahead of next year’s event.
The world-famous festival returned earlier this year with one of its biggest events yet, having been headlined by the Rolling Stones, Mumford and Sons, and Arctic Monkeys. Now, wasting no time, work is well underway for 2014’s event and ticket details have now surfaced online.
Tickets for Glastonbury 2014 are set to go on sale from 9am on October 6 and will cost you £210 - plus £5 booking fee - per ticket. Each person is allocated a maximum of six tickets per transaction, a reduction from last year’s eight, while you can book a ticket by paying a £50 deposit. The other £160 is due in April.
For the first time ever, the festival is offering fans the chance to book a coach and entry double ticket, which gives you entry to the festival and also ensures you a seat on a return coach from 28 locations in the UK. There’ll be 15,000 coach and ticket packages on sale, and there’ll even be a small coach and ticket package presale on October 3, as organisers encourage green travel.
Glastonbury 2014 will again be held at Worthy Farm and takes place from June 25-29. It’s set to be another epic event - look what chief Michael Eavis has to say:
“Next year's headliners are more or less in place. They're three bands who haven't played Glastonbury, and that's important. There aren't many bands left who haven't played the festival, and before we run out I'd like to persuade the ones on my wish list to come down. I think I've managed that with these three.”
If that sounds good, then register for your chance to buy tickets now - you need to get that done before September 30 if you want to be in with a chance of grabbing tickets come October 6. Click here to register - and leave us a comment in the box underneath if you’re planning on attending!
