The Dillinger Escape Plan, Volbeat and a reformed SikTh have all been added to the bill for Download 2014, joining headliners Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and Aerosmith.
Also added to the festval's line-up are Suicide Silence, Buckcherry, Memphis May Fire, Battlecross, Jake E. Lee's Red Dragon Cartel, Arcane Roots, Thy Art is Murder, the Amity Affliction, Avatar, Lonely the Brave and Feed the Rhino.
Download 2014 will take over Donington Park between June 13 and 15, with Rob Zombie, Fall Out Boy, Alter Bridge, the Offspring, Status Quo, Steel Panther, Trivium, In Flames, While She Sleeps, letlive, the Black Dahlia Murder, Crossfaith, Miss May I, Blessthefall and Dying Fetus already confirmed.
SikTh split back in 2008 but will get back together for another crack at Download over a decade after their first appearance. Dan Weller said:
"We've always said that one day we would get SikTh back together and do another show and next year just feels like the right time to stop the talking and do it. To be honest we really miss playing those songs. Our fans have been so loyal so it's time to give them something back. We played Download in 2003 and 2006 so it seemed the obvious place for us to make a return."
Download 2014 takes place June 13 to June 15 at Donington Park. Head over to the festival's official site downloadfestival.co.uk for further details. Tickets are on sale now.
