BBC Announces First 6 Music Festival With The National, Damon Albarn, Franz Ferdinand, The Horrors

The first BBC 6 Music Festival will be held at Manchester's Victoria Warehouse on February 28 and March 1.
The National will headline Saturday night on Stage 1, following sets by Franz Ferdinand, Jake Bugg, Bombay Bicycle Club, the Staves and Craig Charles, with Damon Albarn and Midlake topping the bill on the opening night after performances from Kelis, Haim, Luke Sital-Singh and Huey Morgan.
Stage 2 will showcase the Horrors on Friday night, along with Metronomy, JimiGoodwin, Drenge and Outfit, and James Blake on Saturday, with Wild Beasts, LykkeLi, Jagwar Ma, Nick Mulvey and Kiran Leonard.
The Silent Disco DJ Stage features Groove Armada, on Friday, and Don Letts on Saturday, with support from Mary-Anne Hobbs, Tim Burgess, X-Press 2, Gilles Peterson, Kwes, Nemone and Peter Hook across the two nights.
