Detestival organisers have unveiled the first set of bands that will tear up this year's edition of the festival, which will span three days at Sheffield's Queens Social Club.
Sleepy Sun (pictured), Turbowolf, PINS, Slaves, Lola Colt, God Damn, Brown Brogues, Vladimir, Happyness, Big Difference, Bad Guys and Jazz Hands will all turn out between April 18 and 20.
Last year's edition featured Bo Ningen, Temples, Toy, Hookworms and Wolf People, and Rob Graham, the festival's curator, is hoping to repeat its success in an extended format. He said:
“This year we're back and we're bigger. Same as last year we stuck to the idea of trying to put a line-up together that was populated with acts that we like, both on an artistic level as well as personal one.
"Since last years event we've seen: Toy better their first record with the beautiful and brave 'Join The Dots', Hookworms go from playing mid-bill to playing the final ATP at camber sands and releasing probably the album of the year, and Temples support the fucking Rolling Stones at Hyde park. Here's to another great weekend of bands that will blow everyone's minds and make waves!"
Further line up announcements are expected in the coming weeks, with weekend passes on sale now, priced at £30.00.
