Dexters are confirmed as the lead support for The Enemy at London’s KOKO on May 28.
The East-London quintet previously supported The Enemy back in 2012 on a nation wide tour. The band also recently announced they are supporting Kaiser Chiefs at The British Grand Prix at Silverstone on July 3, the 12,000 capacity venue is set to be their biggest show to date kicking off a weekend of celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the famous Silverstone track.
On supporting The Enemy, lead singer Tom says:
“Can't wait for this show and seeing The Enemy lads again. The Enemy boys gave us our first proper chance in this game when they took us out on the road on their UK tour back in 2012. It'll be great to play with them round our way - we plan on returning the favour and taking them on a tour of the best Camden pubs after the show!”
Dexters recently released their debut album ‘Shimmer Gold’ through Acid Jazz Records and last week completed their biggest headline UK tour to date which concluded with a show at London’s Garage.
