Turbowolf Set Up December UK Tour

Friday, 13 June 2014 Written by Jon Stickler

Turbowolf have lined up dates for a December UK headline tour, as part of the Download Freezes Over series.

The Bristolian genre-bending rockers, who recently premiered a new track, Solid Gold, taken from their second album, will play dates in Nottingham, Manchester, Cardiff, Birmingham, Norwich and London in December.

So, 'what is Download Freezes Over?’, we hear you cry. Who better to tell you, than Download Freezes Over promoter, Dave Bradley:

“Essentially it’s our way of bringing a bit of Download to fans at a point in the year when it’s not possible to congregate in a field to enjoy the best that the world of rock and metal has to offer. It’s Download’s chance to champion and nurture the bands we find really exciting and really believe in. Six headline tours from six awesome Download bands across the UK this winter. Don’t miss it."

The band play Download festival's Pepsi Max stage this weekend, with tickets for their headline tour on sale at 9am on June 16, priced at £9.00 (£10.00 in London), plus fees.

Turbowolf Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Mon December 01 2014 - NOTTINGHAM Rescue Rooms
Tue December 02 2014 - MANCHESTER Deaf Institute
Thu December 04 2014 - CARDIFF Clwb Ifor Bach
Sat December 06 2014 - BIRMINGHAM Institute Temple
