Blondie drummer Clem Burke has admitted that their current world tour could be their sign off.
The legendary new wave band are currently in Canada for the Pemberton Music Festival, having played Glastonbury last month. In an interview with the Province, a British Columbia newspaper, Burke said that Debbie Harry - who is now 69 - had hinted that the band’s touring days are numbered. He said:
“By the time we get to beautiful Vancouver, B.C., we will have toured Europe, played Glastonbury and done a number of big festivals in North America. As for the rumours of the last tour, we’ve decided we’ll live forever. But Debbie, is older than me and has hinted it could be time. Obviously without her, there is no Blondie.”
Blondie will play a series of UK shows later this year following their set at V Festival, including a September stops at Hyde Park for BBC Radio 2 Live.
Blondie Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Wed August 20 2014 - LEICESTER O2 Academy Leicester
Wed August 27 2014 - GLASGOW O2 ABC
