Anthrax have released a video for Blood Eagle Wings.
The song features on the New York thrashers' 11th LP, 'For All Kings', which came out last week. The clip, which you can check out below, was accompanied by a short note:
"The blood eagle is a ritualized method of execution, detailed in late skaldic poetry. Featuring in Norse Sagas, the condemned prisoner would have their spine column exposed and then their ribs severed from the spine and pulled open (to resemble wings)."
Anthrax will appear as special guests for Slayer's Live At The Marquee show in Cork on June 15. Tickets go on sale at 9.00am on March 4.
