Clean Bandit have shared their new single, Tears.
The track, which is out now, features the winner of 2015's X Factor, Louisa Johnson. Discussing it, the band's Jack Patterson, who co-wrote the song with Sam Romans, said:
“Tears is an epic trap-2step breakup ballad. I wrote it with Sam Romans at the piano, and over the course of a year, it has transformed from a simple piano tune into a mad beast of changing time signatures and feels. To me, Tears feels like a 1990s vision of a future breakup song. Louisa Johnson delivered the vocal with incredible power and devastating tenderness. Her adlibs are insane! She is so lovely and an absolute joy to work with.”
Clean Bandit are currently working on their second album, which will follow up 2014's 'New Eyes'.
