Yusuf Cat Stevens Announces Autumn North American Tour

Yusuf Islam, formerly known as Cat Stevens, will return to the road for the A Cat’s AtticTour this autumn.
The legendary singer-songwriter will head out for 12 shows, kicking off at the Sony Centre for Performing Arts in Toronto on September 12. In addition to stops in Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, Nashville, Chicago and San Francisco, the run also includes a brace of performances at the Beacon Theatre plus an appearance at the Global Citizens festival in Central Park, New York, winding up with two nights at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles in early October.
The stripped down, introspective performances will coincide with the 50th anniversary of Stevens' first hit single, I Love My Dog, which was released in 1966. Tickets are on general sale at 10am on August 15.
