Michael Nau has shared a video for his new single, Love Survive.
The track is a cut from his debut album, 'Mowing', which is due to be released on November 18 via Full Time Hobby.
Discussing the animated video for the song, its creator Robert Wallace said:
"Love Survive is a light-hearted summery track, filled with personality and quirks. The video captures this mood, jumping between animated loops that move in time with the music. Set on a fictional island, the video explores the different aspects of nature there. Instead of a story-based narrative, the video expresses the feeling of the song, its rhythms and moods. To capture the organic sound, all of the animations were kept loose. The process used a mixture of real and digital brushes as well as hand painted texture loops to give the whole thing a handcrafted aesthetic."
Nau will tour the UK for the first time this November when supporting Okkervil River. They have shows lined up in London, Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow. Tickets are on sale now.
