Perfume Genius has confirmed release details for ‘No Shape’ and shared the record's lead single, Slip Away.
Mike Hadreas’ follow up to ‘Too Bright’ is expected on May 5 through Matador. It was produced by Blake Mills and mixed by Shawn Everett.
“I felt like when I made these other albums, people were like ‘why are you talking about these things?’,” Hadreas said. “And now people are going to be like, 'why aren’t you talking about these things?' because everything’s so terrible. I’m never not talking about it. My life is existing in the fucking face of it. My music will always be in protest.”
You can check out the tracklist for ‘No Shape’ below alongside a video for Slip Away, which was directed by Andrew Thomas Huang and premiered by the Fader.
