Flight of the Conchords have postponed their tour of the UK and Ireland.
The run, which was due to take in arena and theatre dates in London along with stops in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds and Dublin, has been shelved for the time being due to a hand injury suffered by Bret McKenzie.
“Unfortunately I’ve broken two bones in my hand today in a very rock ‘n’ roll injury – falling down some stairs,” he said in a statement. “The doctors have informed me that I won’t be able to perform for several weeks. I’m sorry not to be able to do these upcoming shows but I’m looking forward to coming back and finishing the tour when I have two fully functioning hands.”
The tour’s promoters will release details of rescheduled dates shortly.
