The Florida-based rapper, real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was shot while leaving a motorcycle store in south Florida yesterday afternoon. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
Earlier this year he released his sophomore album, '?', which featured collaborations with Travis Barker and Joey Bada$$, among others. It followed up his 2017 debut, '17', and a number of mixtapes and EPs, including 'Revenge' and 'Members Only, Vol.3'.
Onfroy had a controversial reputation due to numerous legal issues. At the time of his passing he was facing domestic violence charges, according to the BBC.
Since the news broke online numerous artists have posted about his death, including Kanye West and J. Cole.
