The Frights have dropped a new track, No Place Like (Not Being) Home.
It will appear on 'Hypochondriac', the follow up to 2016's 'You Are Going To Hate This', which is due for release on August 24 through Epitaph.
Discussing the song, frontman Mikey Carnevale said:
“‘No Place Like (Not Being) Home’ is a love note to being on tour. I live in San Diego and I’m really happy about that, so leaving home to drink myself to death for months at a time can get depressing. Everybody who has ever toured has had the best time of their lives and the worst time of their lives all in one month. And then finally coming home and decompressing with the people you love. And drinking water again. Gotta hydrate baby.”
The San Diego surf-punks recently announced a 26-date North American tour in support of the new record, which will kick off on August 24 in their hometown at the Observatory North Park and conclude at Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix on October 18. Tickets are on sale now. Head to thefrights.com for further details.
