The Xcerts Confirm October Show In London, Announce Acoustic EP 'Late One Night'

Wednesday, 25 July 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

The Xcerts will play an intimate show at St .Pancras Old Church in London on October 3.

The Scottish trio have also announced an acoustic EP, 'Late One Night', which is due for release on October 5 through Raygun Records. The EP will be released as a limited signed and numbered 12" vinyl and will feature five new versions of songs from their recent album 'Hold On To Your Heart'. Vocalist Murray Macleod said:

"The idea to record quieter versions of songs from 'Hold On To Your Heart' came on our in-store run promoting the record. We really got a kick out of playing these stripped back versions and thought we should get them on tape. We recorded the entire EP in one night which lent a nice organic feel to it and hopefully makes for a nice contrast to the album. We have a tendency to over analyse so it was cool just to hangout and keep the session as loose as possible. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it."

'Late One Night'

1. Daydream
2. Feels Like Falling in Love
3. Cry
4. Hold On To Your Heart
5. The Dark

The band are currently supporting the Goo Goo Dolls and link up with You Me At Six in November and December, as well as playing Reading and Leeds and Bestival.

The Xcerts Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Wed October 03 2018 - LONDON St Pancras Old Church
