Cloud Nothings Announce New LP 'Last Building Burning' With New Track The Echo Of The World

Cloud Nothings will release a new album this autumn.
'Last Building Burning', which their press release describes as the antidote to 2017's 'Life Without Sound', will arrive on October 19 through Wichita Recordings. It was recorded with producer Randall Dunn across eight days at Sonic Ranch in Texas.
“I wrote this because I felt there weren’t too many rock bands doing what we are right now. A lot of other bands sound great but it’s missing a heaviness I like,” said frontman Dylan Baldi.

The song sees vocalist and guitarist Baldi frantically spit lyrics, adding an urgency to proceedings, while guitars and drums continue to rage and escalate in ferocity, almost to the point of complete meltdown in the final minute.
