LP, real name Laura Pergolizzi, has announced the release of her fifth studio album, 'Heart to Mouth'.
Her most personal offering to date, the follow up to 2016's 'Lost On You' is set to arrive on December 7 via BMG/Vagrant and news of its arrival is accompanied by a video for her poignant new single, Recovery. The track casts light on the honesty at the record's core. Discussing the album's title, Pergolizzi said in a statement:
"When I get on the mic and start doing melodies, I can feel that direct line from my heart to my mouth. In the past, there was a city full of streets that needed my attention. Now, I feel like I have a major highway to communicate emotion from. Whether they're sadder songs or big anthems, they all come from the same place."
Depicting a failed relationship that's difficult to move on from, Recovery follows the previously shared lead single, Girls Go Wild, which the singer-songwriter released back in June.
