Health and Perturbator have combined for a collaborative single, Body/Prison.
The track follows the Los Angeles noise-rock trio's recent expansive Mass Grave single with Soccer Mommy and Purity Ring's Corin Roddick. In a stark contrast to Mass Grave, the next instalment in their series of collborations is dark, loud and features pounding drum machine rhythms mixed with exploding synths.
"Aldous Huxley once remarked 'After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music'… but that shit has nothing to do with this track. We give you BODY/PRISON, a collaboration between HEALTH and Perturbator."
The track is accompanied by some Zev Deans-directed hellish 16-bit visuals, while Benjamin Jared Miller, Jake Duzsik and John Famiglietti have revealed that there are two further collaborations to come before an album arrives in early 2019.
Health have also announced their live return to Europe, supporting the Neighbourhood on an 11-date run, including the O2 Academy Brixton in London on January 30.
