Calvin Harris and Rag’n’Bone Man have teamed up for a new single.
As with nearly all of Harris’ output, the track is a certified dancefloor banger. Let’s face it, he’s got pretty much a 100% hit rate in that regard. Though it’s nice to see Rory Graham’s gospel-influenced R&B holding its own alongside the pulsing beats.
The lyrics, however, are a stark contrast to the upbeat soundscape. Graham wrote the song four years ago and it relfects on his childhood and "how parents aren’t always as strong as they seem." "I would be nothing without you holding me up, now I’m strong enough for both of us," he sings.
Harris and Benny Blanco recently shared a new version of their single I Found You with vocals from Miguel. The producer also teamed up with former Fifth Harmony member Normani at the end of the last year for two new tracks. Head here to check them out.
Rag’n’Bone Man, meanwhile, has been quiet on the new material front. His most recent output being Photographs, a collaboration with Professor Green.
