Richard Hawley has announced a new record.
‘Further’, the former Pulp member’s eighth solo album, is due on June 7, and is the first not to be named after a landmark in Sheffield, despite being largely recorded in the Northern city. Released by BMG, production comes from Colin Elliot and Shez Sheridan.
Hawley will support the album with two headline shows at Hackney's EartH on May 6 and 7. Tickets go on sale on March 7 at 9am, priced from £30.00 plus fees. He also has plans to support Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott at their Stockport shows in June.
The LP’s first single, Off My Mind, is a crunching rock track made with driving guitars and pounding drums. Check it out, along with the album's tracklist and artwork below.
