Local Natives have announced the release of album number four, 'Violet Street'.
Led by new tracks Café Amarillo and When Am I Gonna Lose You?, the follow up to 2016's 'Sunlit Youth' is set to arrive on April 26 via Loma Vista Recordings. It finds the band once again working with long time collaborator and producer Shawn Everett.
Both tracks arrived this week with accompanying videos directed by Van Alpert, viewable below along with the album's artwork and tracklist. Actress Kate Mara stars in the visual for When Am I Gonna Lose You?. Discussing the track, vocalist and guitarist Taylor Rice said:
“I got married last year. I found myself in an incredible relationship that was great on so many levels, but I always felt like it was going to go away, fall apart, and crumble. This song is me diving into murky emotions of anxiety and doubt in the middle of love and joy.”
The band will support the release with their 28-date North American Spiral Choir Tour, kicking off on May 15 in Vancouver and running through to June 28, culminating at Athens' Summer Nostos Festival. Support on all dates comes from Middle Kids.
