Disney on Ice is a live show created by Disney that sees their best loved characters perform on ice. First starting in 1981 under the name Walt Disney's World on Ice, it's grown into a worldwide ice-rink phenomenon.
Featuring ice-skaters dressed as all your favourite Disney characters, every show sees thousands of kids and parents leaving venues with massive smiles on their face. Previous incarnations of the production have included Worlds of Fantasy, which saw Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie and the Toy Story gang escape from the rambunctious tots of Sunnyside Daycare and race for home. Audiences have also seen 100 Years of Magic — a celebration that featured a cast of 65 popular Disney stars, sing-a-long Disney tunes, stunning choreography, elaborate sets and costumes, The Magical Ice Festival, Frozen, Worlds of Enchantment and more. In 2023, Disney On Ice Presents 100 Years Of Wonder will tour Australia in June and July, and the UK that winter. Disney on Ice is a live show created by Disney that sees their best loved characters perform on ice. First starting in 1981 under the name Walt Disney's World on Ice, it's grown into a worldwide ice-rink phenomenon.
Featuring ice-skaters dressed as all your favourite Disney characters, every show sees thousands of kids and parents leaving venues with massive smiles on their face. Previous incarnations of the production have included Worlds of Fantasy, which saw Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie and the Toy Story gang escape from the rambunctious tots of Sunnyside Daycare and race for home. Audiences have also seen 100 Years of Magic — a celebration that featured a cast of 65 popular Disney stars, sing-a-long Disney tunes, stunning choreography, elaborate sets and costumes, The Magical Ice Festival, Frozen, Worlds of Enchantment and more. In 2023, Disney On Ice Presents 100 Years Of Wonder will tour Australia in June and July, and the UK that winter. A wonderful day the children are still talking about the show and want to go again. The 02 was easy to get to the costumes bright colourful. The atmosphere was electric. A fantastic spectacle, the participation with the children was good. They were in all with the whole show and Auntie.
