Frank Turner has announced a UK tour in support of his upcoming eighth album.
After sharing details of 'No Man's Land' earlier this month, the folk-punk troubadour has confirmed he'll follow the record's release with autumn shows, including two dates at London's Alexandra Palace Theatre on November 30 and December 3 as well as a stint in North America.
Head below for a full list of dates, while tickets go on general sale at 11am on July 19. Speaking about the format, Turner said:
"For this tour, I thought it would be good to give the new album some proper attention, so the first set of mine of the night will be a solo run through some of those songs and stories; once the Souls [his backing band the Sleeping Souls] are up with me, we're playing around with a slightly more stripped back, thoughtful folk approach to some of the older material, which feels different and powerful. Looking forward to sharing a slightly different show with everyone for this run."
'No Man's Land' is scheduled to arrive on August 16 via on Xtra Mile Recordings/Polydor Records and is inspired by women who throughout history have been overlooked. The singer-songwriter recorded it solely with an all-female cast of musicians and production was handled by 2018 Producer of the Year winner Catherine Marks.
Head here to listen to the latest episode of the album's accompanying 13-part podcast series, Tales From No Man's Land, which gives an insight into the narrative behind the latest track to be shared from the record, The Death of Dora Hand.
