Charli XCX has teamed up with Christine and the Queens on her new single.
Gone is the latest cut from XCX’s third studio album, ‘Charli’, due on September 13 via Atlantic Records. Focused around a buoyant synth bassline, the new track merges both vocalists’ skills to their full potential with dynamic and wide ranging melodies.
Its accompanying video, which sees both artists escaping shackles and emphatically dancing with each other, mimics the complexity of the lyrics that discuss the problems of falling prey to the opinions of others.
The record will also feature Lizzo, Troye Sivan, Kim Petras, Tommy Cash, HAIM, CupcakKe and more. Charli XCX will support the release with UK shows this October in between stints in North America and Europe.
Charli XCX Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Sun October 27 2019 - GLASGOW SWG3
Mon October 28 2019 - BIRMINGHAM O2 Institute
Wed October 30 2019 - MANCHESTER Albert Hall
Thu October 31 2019 - LONDON O2 Academy Brixton
