Big Thief have announced a new album.
After only putting out 'U.F.O.F' in May, the Brooklyn four-piece have lined up the release of 'Two Hands' for October 11. They’ll support the record with an intimate London show at Bush Hall on August 19, before heading to Nottingham, Manchester, Glasgow and mainland Europe in spring 2020.
Tickets go on sale at 10am on August 14 for the 2020 shows, while next week’s London date will go on sale at 10am on August 16.
Not is the first cut to be shared from ‘Two Hands’. It's an indie rock song that instead of focusing on the traditional verse-chorus format repeats the same chords throughout to create a hypnotic mix of distortion and Adrienne Lenker's angelic vocals, before roaring into a two and a half minute guitar solo to close.
Big Thief already have headline North American dates planned for autumn 2019, as well as a previously announced London show at the Eventim Apollo on February 27, 2020. Tickets for these are on sale now.
Big Thief Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Mon August 19 2019 - LONDON Bush Hall
Thu February 27 2020 - LONDON Eventim Apollo
Sat February 29 2020 - NOTTINGHAM Rock City
Sun March 01 2020 - MANCHESTER Albert Hall
Mon March 02 2020 - GLASGOW Old Fruitmarket
