Jesus Is King will detail the making of the rapper’s imminent ninth studio album of the same name, which was due to arrive on Friday September 27, but is still unreleased (as of 1pm on September 30).
The film is also set to feature a recent performance from West’s ongoing Sunday Service series, filmed in Arizona earlier this year and an immersive art installation by James Turrell. It will premiere in IMAX cinemas in North America on October 25.
‘Jesus Is King’ is the follow-up to 2018’s ‘ye’, and an updated tracklist was shared on September 28.
