Chester Bennington's pre-Linkin Park band Grey Daze have shared a single.
The previously unheard What's In The Eye features original vocals from a 17-year-old Bennington. It will appear on an upcoming album put together by the late vocalist's bandmates, friends, family, and collaborators. The emotional song was written by both Bennington and drummer Sean Dowdell and focuses on feelings of loss.
It was announced last December by Bennington’s widow that the star had been working on a record with his pre-Linkin Park grunge band shortly before his passing in July 2017, re-recording tracks initially laid down in the '90s. Further details, including its title and release date, are yet to be confirmed.
