Jehnny Beth has announced her first solo album.
The Savages vocalist will put out 'To Love Is To Live' on May 8 via Caroline Records, followed by festival appearances across the UK, Europe and North America in the summer, including a set at the UK's All Points East Festival on May 29. She will also perform at the BBC 6 Music Festival on March 8.
Taking time away from her band, Beth recorded the LP in Los Angeles, London and Paris alongside several impressive collaborators, including producers Flood, Atticus Ross, and longtime co-creator Johnny Hostile. The record also features guest spots from the xx’s Romy Madley Croft, actor Cillian Murphy, and Idles' Joe Talbot.
Head below to check out the record's artwork, tracklist and alluring new song Flower, written about a pole dancer at a notorious Los Angeles strip club named Jumbo’s Clown Room. The track follows last year's I'm The Man, which was debuted in a Peaky Blinders episode.
