Iggy Pop Shares Video For Lou Reed-Inspired Track We Are The People

Tuesday, 03 March 2020 Written by Jon Stickler

Iggy Pop has unveiled a video for We Are The People.

His take on Lou Reed's 1970 poem of the same name features on his latest album, 'Free', which arrived last September. The poignant, minimal clip, meanwhile, sees the former Stooges singer in the dark, gazing into the camera.

Iggy has also revealed that a limited, numbered "test pressing" vinyl release of 'Free' will arrive on March 7, featuring cover art from Maurizio Cattelan. Head here for details.

Iggy was recently announced for Ireland's All Together Now festival. He will also appear at All Points East in London on May 29, in between dates across Europe.
