CupcakKe is back with her first single since July 2019.
Titled Lawd Jesus, the song marks the Chicago rapper's first new music since last year's NSFW Old Town Hoe (Old Town Road remix) and the end of her brief music-making hiatus, which she announced in a distressing Instragram video before deactivating her social media accounts in September.
The new track finds CupcakKe rapping about facing her demons and a new outlook on life over a steady beat and piano melody. Check it out below.
Her last full-length and fourth overall was 2018's 'Eden'. Most recently, she returned to the limelight on a remix of Ripe from Australian artist Banoffee. Catch her performing live in Brooklyn, New York on April 4.
