Enter Shikari Share New Track The King From Upcoming LP 'Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible'

Enter Shikari have shared another track from their upcoming album.
The King is a short, exuberant combination of pitch-shifting synths and detuned guitar riffs that serves as the second preview of 'Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible', out on April 17 via the St. Albans quartet's new label, So Recordings.
It follows the previously shared The Dreamer's Hotel, which arrived last month alongside details of the record. Talking about the new track, frontman Rou Reynolds said:
"The King is about the fervent, rushed desire we as humans often have for revenge. It’s almost a lesson in patience and forgiveness. Not just lyrically, but also because of how much of a struggle this boisterous track was to make. The fiddly detail in the drum production, the weird guitar tones, the five different choruses I went through before finding the right one! We’re glad we stuck with it and tamed this beast and can’t wait to play it live."
The band will support the follow-up to 2017's 'The Spark' with intimate album launch shows during April. Tickets are available to those who pre-order the record from the band's online store and to members of their Future Historians fan club. General sale begins at 10am March 25.
