Charli XCX Announces New Album 'How I'm Feeling Now'

Tuesday, 07 April 2020 Written by Laura Johnson

Charli XCX has shared plans for a new album.

The pop singer-songwriter took to social media to announce that she would record it at home during this time of self isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic. She stated it would be a very DIY affair and that she'd be reaching out to people online for contributions and collaborations.

The record's working title is 'How I'm Feeling Now' and she's hoping to drop it on May 15. A countdown website for the follow-up to 2019's 'Charlie' has already been set up, and screenshots shared showing singer-producer A.G. Cook, multi-instrumentalist and producer Dylan Brady, and producer-songwriter BJ Burton are all on board.

Charli XCX has a number of festival sets lined up for this summer, including Latitude and Longitude. She will also support the 1975 at their Finsbury Park show in London on July 11.
