Manic Street Preachers have announced two Cardiff shows.
In light of the coronavirus pandemic, the Welsh rockers will play a free concert for NHS workers on December 4 at the city's Motorpoint Arena and a public concert with all profits going to NHS charities the next day.
Tickets will be available from 7pm on April 10. The band said:
“We wanted to do something to show our appreciation, love and respect for the NHS and its amazing brave workers. One free show and one fundraising show seemed the best way for us to express our deep gratitude for all their heroic work.”
The Manics will support the Killers at stadiums in Bristol, Coventry and Middlesbrough this summer. They also play Piece Hall in Halifax on June 28, as well as making an appearance at Portsmouth's Victorious Festival in August.
The band recently announced they'll be reissuing their 1993 album 'Gold Against The Soul' on June 12. Their last studio album, meanwhile, was 2018's 'Resistance Is Futile'.
