Rammstein have postponed their upcoming shows in the UK and Europe
The German industrial rock band were due to take their renowned live stage show to stadiums in Cardiff, Belfast and Coventry, as well as venues in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Poland, Estonia, Norway, Sweden and Denmark throughout the summer. However, all their plans have been put on hold due to the ongoing coronavius pandemic.
They also have dates lined up in Montreal, Philadelphia, Landover, Minneapolis, Chicago, Foxborough, East Rutherford, San Antonio and Los Angeles during August and September that are currently still set to go ahead.
In a statement on social media, they said:
"Due to local event restrictions related to COVID-19, which now affect almost all planned dates, the band’s 2020 stadium tour can unfortunately not take place.
"We are currently checking whether it is possible to reschedule the dates and will communicate any updates as soon as possible!
"All tickets will remain valid until then. Thank you again for your understanding and patience."
Rammstein were hitting the road in support of their 2019 untitled album.
