Due to pre-sale demand, The Maccabees have added extra dates to their summer tour.
The reunited indie-rockers will double up at The Academy in Dublin on August 18 and the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on August 22, the days following their previously confirmed gigs at those venues.
The short tour will also see them play Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom on August 20, ahead of their headline performance at London's Victoria Park for the All Points East concert series on August 24, where they'll be joined by Bombay Bicycle Club, Dry Cleaning, The Cribs, Nilüfer Yanya, The Murder Capital, Divorce, and more.
This summer, they'll also play shows across mainland Europe in late June. The gigs will be their first since their farewell concert at Alexandra Palace in London back in 2017. They also coincide with the 10th anniversary of their chart-topping album, 'Marks To Prove It'.
Guitarist Felix White said: “None of us thought we’d ever play shows again anywhere. Hopefully the whole tour will have a real sense of something precious about it.’’
Tickets for the European shows and All Points East date are on sale now, while tickets for the UK and Ireland shows in August go on general sale at 9am tomorrow (April 11).
