Dodie is scheduled to unveil her debut album next year.
The 25-year-old will drop 'Build A Problem' on March 5, and it will feature 14 tracks, including lead single Cool Girl, a cathartic indie-folk song that embodies gentle drum patterns and a fluttering vocal line. She explained:
“Cool Girl is a song about misplaced anger. Stemming from the suppression of communicating your needs in a relationship in order to attempt to be the most chill, cool, and loveable. It’s bitter, desperate, frustrated, proud, determined, and unhealthy.”
The new LP will follow the singer-songwriter's last EP, 2019's 'Human', which she supported with a UK tour that year.
'Build A Problem' tracklist:
1. Air So Sweet
2. Hate Myself
3. I Kissed Someone (It Wasn’t You)
