Architects are scheduled to put out their ninth album next year.
'For Those That Wish To Exist' is set to land on February 26 via Epitaph, and will feature collaborations with Parkway Drive's Winston McCall, Royal Blood's Mike Kerr and Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro. Check out the record's artwork and tracklist in full below.
The news swiftly follows the release of blistering lead single Animals, posted yesterday (October 20). In a statement, primary songwriter Dan Searle explained:
“This album was me looking at our inability to change to a way of life that would sustain the human race and save the planet.
“I wanted to look in the mirror and ask ourselves the question of what are we going to do, as opposed to trying to point the finger at politicians. Change has to start on a personal level. The world has developed a culture of wanting someone else to deal with it, when we need to take our own responsibility. It has to start there.”
The upcoming LP will mark the first full-length effort from the Brighton metalcore group since 2018's 'Holy Hell'.
