Alice Cooper has unveiled a new song.

Following Rock'n'Roll, Our Love Will Change The World marks the second single from the iconic rocker's forthcoming LP, 'Detroit Stories', due out on February 26.

Anchored by a bright piano and guitar lines, the upbeat melody contrasts with the 72-year-old's sinister lyrics. He said:

"I think Our Love Will Change The World is one of the oddest songs I've ever done and it was one that came to us by somebody else, another Detroit writer. And it was so strange, because it was happy and what it was saying was anything but happy – it was simply a great juxtaposition. And I got it immediately and said "okay, this is going to be great". The music saying one thing and the lyrics saying something else, I love that song. It is totally different from anything else on the album."

The record was produced by Bob Ezrin, who worked with star during his early years. It follows up Cooper's 2019 'Breadcrumbs' EP and his 2017 album 'Paranormal'. This spring, he put out the single Don’t Give Up in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
