Pale Waves have unveiled a new song, Easy.

A romantic yet gothy moment from the indie-pop quartet's forthcoming second album 'Who Am I?', the track premiered as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record on her BBC Radio 1 show. Check out its Tim Burton-esque video below.

"Love can change your whole perspective, not only of yourself but of life too," says frontwoman Heather Baron-Gracie. "It's the most heartfelt moment throughout the album and it is a genuine, feel-good love song. Originally, Easy was a piano ballad but I wanted to put more energy behind the instrumentation to enhance how love can uplift, drive, and inspire you hence the dramatic musical change."

"The video visually brings to life one of the main lines of the chorus 'you keep the lights on for me," Baron-Gracie added. “The whole video's theme is a wedding, I wore a wedding dress throughout and we shot the video in an old, abandoned church. I am really inspired by the gothic medieval aesthetic and, at the time I was thinking of the video, I was watching a lot of Tim Burton films. His creativity really inspires me."

The follow-up to 2018's 'My Mind Makes Noises' is due out on February 12 via Dirty Hit. Previously shared cuts include She's My Religion and Change.

Pale Waves are due to headline Sonic Wave 2021 this spring. They were also set to support the 1975 at London's Finsbury Park in July before the Manchester group cancelled all of their 2021 tour dates in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
