The Mighty Mighty Bosstones have signed a new record deal and released a new single.
Titled The Final Parade and co-produced by Rancid's Tim Armstrong with fellow Grammy winner Ted Hutt, the eight-minute all-star ode to ska-punk bubbles with the familiar bombastic energy that the Massachusetts band are known for.
It marks their first single on Armstrong's Epitaph imprint Hellcat Records and is described by vocalist Dicky Barrett as, "a love letter to Ska music and the people that make Ska music and it's a whole lot of fun."
The list of guest contributors includes Aimee Interrupter and the Interrupters, Angelo Moore of Fishbone, Stiff Little Fingers' Jake Burns, Jay Navarro of Suicide Machines, Chris DeMakes, Pete Wesilewski, Roger Lima from Less Than Jake, Jimmy G of Murphy's Law, Toby Morse, Rusty Pistachio of H2O, John Feldman of Goldfinger, along with Laila Khan from Sonic Boom Six and Roddy Radiation of the Specials.
Despite the new song, there's still no news on the follow-up to the group's 10th studio album, 2018's 'While We're At It'.
