Monday, 23 September 2024 Written by Jon Stickler

Sting has been announced as the first confirmed headliner for Latitude 2025.

The former frontman of The Police will take to the festival's main stage when it returns to Henham Park near Southwold in Suffolk between July 24 and 27.

He'll be accompanied by long-time collaborator and guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas for the STING 3.0 performance, which will see the 17-time Grammy-winner playing selections from his vast catalogue as a three-piece band.

He's expected to perform his solo hits, rarities and The Police classics, including Fields of Gold, Demolition Man, Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic, Englishman In New York, Every Breath You Take, Roxanne, and Message In A Bottle. Melvin Benn, Latitude Festival Director, said:

"We’re thrilled to announce Sting as our first headliner for Latitude 2025. His unparalleled artistry and the exciting new direction of the 'STING 3.0' shows perfectly align with Latitude’s mission to deliver a rich and diverse cultural experience. Sting’s extraordinary ability to transcend musical boundaries and deliver unforgettable live performances makes him an exceptional addition to next year’s line-up.

"Latitude is known for captivating audiences with a mix of global headliners and emerging talent, and Sting is just the first of many incredible acts to be revealed—there’s much more to come!"
