Nick Mason has rescheduled his UK tour with Saucerful Of Secrets for a second time due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
As part of The Echoes Tour, the former Pink Floyd drummer — along with ex-Floyd bassist Guy Pratt, the Blockheads' guitarist Lee Harris, Spandau Ballet's Gary Kemp and composer Dom Beken — has moved the shows previously rearranged for April and May 2021 to spring 2022, kicking off the run on April 16 in York.
Each performance will see the band playing vintage Pink Floyd pre 'Dark Side Of The Moon' era material. Discussing the sets, Mason explained:
"It's a quick way of explaining to people what we're doing. What I didn't want to get caught up in were a lot of people going, 'Well, why don't you play Comfortably Numb?' or 'Why don't you do something from 'The Wall'?' I think the name itself indicates where we are and what we're doing."
Original tickets will be honoured, and the remaining tickets are on sale now.
