Elle King and Miranda Lambert have teamed up for a duet.
Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home) arrives after the two superstars teased the single on Instagram, posting images of the pair with the hashtag #Drunk in the captions, causing speculation that a collaboration was on the way.
Co-written by King with Martin Johnson, who also handled production, the upbeat song builds through programmed percussion and keys to a chorus that leans hard into the country influences brought to the track by Lambert. An accompanying video will premiere on YouTube at 6pm GMT today (February 26).
It's the second time the pair have worked together, with King previously having featured on Lambert's version of Fooled Around And Fell In Love.
King released the singles The Let Go and Another You in 2020, and her last album was 2018's 'Shake the Spirit'. Lambert, meanwhile, put out her latest LP, 'Wildcard', in 2019.
