Mannequin Pussy Announce New EP 'Perfect', Share First Track Control

Mannequin Pussy have shared details of a new EP.
'Perfect' will arrive on May 21, following up the Philadelphia indie-punks' 2019 third full-length 'Patience'.
After spending most of 2020 away from each other, the three-piece booked studio time with producer Will Yip — who also helmed 'Patience' — to record two pre-penned songs as well as new material written off the cuff from the rush of working together in person again. Discussing the process, vocalist and guitarist Missy said:
"We just figured if we forced ourselves into this situation where someone could hit 'record,' something might come out. We'd never written that way before."
Along with the announcement, the band have shared a taster in the form of opener Control, which builds from quiet guitar and hushed vocals to a raucous rock track. It comes paired with a video directed by Missy. Take a look below.
